Project Description

This Project consisted of a Pork Cut Expansion of their bacon products by installing a completely new hog dressing process capable of 5,000 hogs per day into an existing facility while maintaining current production levels.

Our Role

Johnson-Peltier was chosen as the Electrical Contractor to procure and install the entire electrical system for Bacon Slice Lines 1-3.  The project also involved integrating equipment from France, Germany, and Canada into one seamless process. The project required 48,000 manhours and was completed in 5 months.

Johnson-Peltier procured and installed: New 4,000-amp Substation and associated Distribution, Installation of over 400 Motors, Hundreds of Control Devices, Installation of over 1,000 feet of Stainless-Steel Cable Tray
