Project Description
This Project involved the installation of a new piping system along with two new pumps and two heat exchangers to transport High Sulfur Fuel Oil from an existing location to the Coker Unit. The process is heated via steam in the exchangers and new instrumentation was installed in all three areas and two flow elements replaced in the Coker Unit.
Our Role
Demo two (2) existing motors, feeders and associated control circuits from demolished motor starters and relay panel for pump. Relocated the existing motor reset box, conduit, wires, and related accessories to the South side wall. Installed two (2) new VFD’s in NEMA 4X enclosure with 24” floor stand. Furnish and install all power and control conduit and wire to the VFD’s, furnish and install ground bus bar, BCW grounding cables, connectors.
